One of the must-have items on our shopping list were skirts that were long enough to cover our knees, since we'd read a lot of the cathedrals we wanted to tour wouldn't allow women in if their knees were showing (and we were going to be traveling in the summertime). We stumbled upon the fold-over skirts from Old Navy. They were perfect to unfold when touring somewhere that our knees needed to be covered, and then we could roll up to our more standard lengths when we weren't touring.
Fast-forward 2.5 years. The temperature rose up into the 70's... in January... (I love Georgia). I was looking through my closet to try to gauge what warm weather clothes I had that were comfortable and could fit my bump. I came upon my skirt and it was perfect! I paired it with a long non-maternity sweater and a white undershirt and was comfy for all our weekend errands. I checked, and Old Navy still sells these skirts, so I'm thinking they may become my comfy-but-still-cute weekend wardrobe.
