So all day I told her, "Don't put your hands in front of your face, please" Like a good girl, she listened. Unfortunately, I wasn't specific enough. I should have said "Don't put your hands OR FEET in front of your face"
When we first started the ultrasound, baby girl had her face pressed up against the placenta, making getting a clear image of her face nearly impossible. Currently she's head down, with her head/feet by my bladder. With some maneuvering and rolling around, she finally moved her face away from the placenta enough to get a better, unblurry view of her face.
That's when the ultrasound tech told us that thing we saw by her forehead - that was her foot! Apparently baby girl has her feet up by her head. As we watched her move around, there were some pretty comical moments where it looked like she was actually kicking herself in the head. Not sure what she's thinking there. But half of the snapshots we have of her have a big fat foot right by her head.
|Look at that little foot, right by her forehead! Her little arm and hand are up by her ear, like she's talking on a phone :)|
Mom sent me this picture of me tonight. I didn't just have chubby cheeks, I had a chubby whole face.
Has anybody else had a baby who had their feet by their face during a 3D/4D ultrasound? Of all the forums I looked at before we went, I didn't see anyone mention that!
