4 Nursery: Tinker Bell!

This was the easiest, quickest, silliest thing I've added to the nursery so far - but it has brought me the most joy.  I loved Peter Pan when I was little, so this Tinker Bell silhouette I added to the wall of the nursery just makes me smile every time I look at it!  Literally, like a little kid I giggle every time I glance in the nursery.

A couple months ago, mom and I got some open white frames from Hobby Lobby to put over the crib in the nursery.  I wanted them after seeing the Pinterest nursery pin below.  But I didn't want to put a letter inside of the frame, since there are already letters hanging on the wall.  And I didn't want to put a mirror in because I had this fear of the mirror breaking over her crib (paranoid first-time parent).

Nursery Inspiration from Pinterest
We hung them on the wall after the baby shower, but I still wasn't really sure what to put in them.  For the little frame I finally decided on a silhouette, and after going through possible silhouettes I could cut out on the Cricut (crown, wand, Cinderella shoe), for some reason Tinker Bell popped in to my head!  It took about 5 minutes to find an image of Tinker Bell online and cut it out on the Cricut since I already had some black wall vinyl handy leftover from another project.  I smoothed it onto the wall inside the frame and voila, done!

Tinker Bell will be sprinkling fairy dust on baby girl every night now :) :) :)

Now, I just have to figure out what to do with the rest of the frames.  I think the top right silver one is going to have a graphic image with baby girl's name, birth weight, etc.  Obviously I can't finish that until after she arrives though!  The bottom left frame I'd like to have a black & white image of her as a newborn.  Again, can't finish that until she's here.

Originally for the top white open frame, I was going to put a small outfit from when I was little, but mom couldn't find one she'd kept small enough.  So now I'm thinking of hanging booties or a hat.  Any ideas?

And since I shared a photo of the whole wall, I thought I'd share a close up of the awesome "Let Her Sleep ... for when she wakes she will move mountains" artwork that my bff Randi made.  Isn't it awesome?!

  3. Therefore if you get comfort of brain from checking in your child’s breathing from an app, go ahead and do that top 10 video baby monitors, And in the event that you sneak in to view their chest falling and rising in the crib, that’s fine too.
